Lull before the storm

Wow Ann, this is great, you may not have got the effect you wanted but it's very good. Love the trees.

Wonderful light on the trees and it really does look exactly like when a storm is due but the sun is still out. Really well observed and painted.

Only two colours? Fabulous, don't you just love watercolours? That you can produce this with just Paynes grey and lemon! well I'm speechless for once!:} It's lovely.

I really like the way the light rests on the tops of the trees, as well as the lovely sky. It really does convey the moment before a looming storm.
