Two very interesting paintings Angela, you have some amazing arty ideas. The gouache works really well I think with the bright against the dark.

Why thank you Julie and yes the gouache seems easier to apply for these kind of images,, although creating dark skies was a bit of a feat! I added some Prussian blue with black as wanted the bright light to form a highlight.

Many thanks Stephen for your comments ...started this project the other week, still working on producing another set,, likened to the phases of the moon, although am still figuring out some middle stage? Need to paint the eclipse next!
