'Take these Wings and make me Fly' Emus Dream

I should have sketched Emu with his eyes closed drifting into his dream, but when I started drawing his head I think he was amazed at finding Blackbird asleep so captured his open beak in amazement! Never mind can see if I can draw the next one of Emu drifting off into Blackbirds dream! Emus do sleep at night in the bush and roam during the day, they are so quiet and really pose well!

I found a bird's nest the other day and it was like a subtle gift from a bird , so did a sketch and included it as an image for Blackbird asleep and Emu discovers it beneath the Eucalyptus tree. Emu looks in wonder and so falls asleep and this is where he dreams of flying with Blackbird over the Volcano crater....wishful thinking of course as Emus can only run and cannot fly in reality!
