The Eye of the Storm

Comments

An interesting take on the eye of a storm, Angela!!

Why thankyou David It's just an experiment, as this week we have experienced gales and lashing of rain, and the sea with bolders of rocks seemed to surface in mind. The wind seems to resonate with the waves in swirls and gullies of foam upon the shingle shore. The moon is suppose to be the eye overlooking the sea!

Very good work ,Angela.

Started painting a seascape and prepared a textured surface composed of white flour/water and ultramarine blue. I painted burnt umber for rocks jutting up and added Matt Black/titanium white/sienna/yellow for sand and shale. This is the second stage and may add titanium white next stage for the spray of the wave.
