Really interesting image here Angela, like it a lot!

Thankyou Thalia, It was painted a while ago shortly after writing a sea-faring story about a shipwreck. Angela

This painting was produced from an Abstract layering of colours on mdf board. I was writing a story about an Artist called Gastof who sailed over The Ette de Berre lagoon when there was a horrendous storm and the ship capsized , poor Gastof managed to float to shore upon planks broken from the ship, and his two siamese cats were rescued too as they floated safely to the seashore in cartons. I used the fine point of a wooden skewer to draw the lines of the ship and scratched back colours from the original Abstract layers. I added white acrylic for the torn sails and drizzled wash into the channels of water from the sea.
