I'm not brave enough to paint animals and admire you for this one - full of life and good use of the medium.

I love your rendition of this Stubbs - Yes, the oil painting is in the National Gallery and I think you do it great justice, particularly as you make the horse look like its connected to the ground - whereas Stubbs' painting doesn't achieve that effect quite so well. Great picture.

I have thought of trying to paint horses but do not have faith in my ability. You have captured the horse beautifully, I really love this piece. Good colour
