I love the freshness about this and the bright green is spot on for the woods this time of year.

Quite an unusual approach - what I most like about it is that you're not afraid of TONE - so many watercolours (especially but not exclusively) are posted here and elsewhere which have just one basic tone, and it can be like looking at somebody dressed in beige - you scream for a bit of contrast, and dark. It's very difficult indeed - unless you're immensely skilled - to convey a convincing sense of light without darks, or to bring a painting to life without a strong indication of the direction of the light within a scene. I like your fallen branch, too, which probably most people would have edited out --- it's these touches that make a painting real. This is a strong painting, in a medium in which all too often strong works are not made - keep on doing what you're doing!
