That one beautifully drawn tree Andrew .

Beautifully painted, Andrew. That tree is amazing!

Nicely painted Andrew.

I like the light in this and I agree, the tree is amazing.

Very good tree. I also like the tyre tracks that veer off the road, making the viewer ask why?

I admire your patience painting all those branches Andrew. A nice subtle approach to your painting

Thank you all for the kind comments they are really appreciated.

I like this a lot Andrew, the soft muted colour palette works very well for a misty morning

Lovely Andrew.

Thank you Heather and Denise. I have to say this is not the best photograph, the pinks and blues in the sky are more pronounced in reality. For those interested, the background sky and trees were done in acrylic washes which behave just like watercolour except they don’t reactivate with water. The foreground items like the trees and grasses are all done in watercolour apart from the whiter highlights which were done using acrylic paint ( as I’m not a fan of masking fluid).

Just catching up... what a super painting. I really like the way the road leads you into the picture, and the trees in the distance are great, and the tree in the foreground of course. it's a lovely composition Andrew.

P.S It reminds me of the artist Ravilious.

Thank you Karen, I’m a big fan of Ravilious, so maybe something rubbed off on me - a big compliment.
