This is so beautiful. Feel like I'm swimming with the dolphins. The effect of the surface water and seabed are wonderful.

Excellent work! You might be interested to see how another painter tackles the problem of painting underwater, and specifically dolphins under water - take a look at www.kenbushe.co.uk (might be .com, actually, but you'd find him if you just Googled Ken Bushe).

I'm so enjoying browsing through your portfolio. I am a scuba diver, and I can already hear the bubbles rumbling past my ears just looking at this. Fantastic lighting on the bottom and on the water surface. Thank-you for your kind comments on my work.

Just some fun with blues and greens to cool down in the heat. Certainly have never tried an underwater scene (or dolphins) before so it sat on the easel for some time as I tweaked tones and colours. I was hoping to show the contrast between sparkle and the distant gloom that things appear from and disappear into. I have not been proper scuba diving myself before.
