So a change from the run of recent marine themed ones and back to Africa. A typical scene on the Zambezi, especially for those who have ever taken one of the canoe safaris. I only used coeuruleum blue in this except for the disturbed water under the ellies which was a bit of ultramarine. the sky is coeur. + red + burnt sienna, the highlights in the hills are flesh tint, reeds are a mix of sap green, yello green, cadmium yellow, red, burnt sienna, ra sienna and white., the wet parts of the ellies are burnt umber + alizarin + raw sienna and the dry parts are ra umber + raw sienna + white, the water has some of all of these.
