Oh, this is lovely..... oddly enough, I like the sky best in this, but that's because it imparts this gentle light to the whole picture; I can certainly tell you enjoyed painting it - strange how that always shows.....

I really enjoyed this virtual dip in tropical waters and find right now I am in seascape mode and learning a lot about how to paint water. That transparency is such a tricky thing - I guess you can say it's painting an infinitely irregular and complex lens. In the end it seems a fairly spontaneous mass of blocks, squiggles, zig-zags and lines of dark turquoise, dark pthalo, medium toned coeuruleum, cream, light turquoise and white is part of that.
