An acrylic painting on textured acrylic paper for a friend's dad's birthday. Jo (along with her canine friend Ridsy) was a canal boat dog until her owner gave up the canals for a dwelling on solid ground. I was given several snapshots of Jo to work from, but none properly showed her eyes! (I believe it was ALWAYS unusual to see her eyes, judging from the way she liked to wear her hair!) To compensate, I tried to make more of the wispy loveliness of the dog instead. A really little cutie!
