Thank you Marjorie, I was given 3 photographs to work from, but chose this one because of the beautiful coloured top she was wearing. I had an aunt who loved to wear a red jacket, in a similar style, to family events and (to me) it became her trademark, along with a favourite broach or a special necklace. Initially I proposed a head and shoulders portrait but amended that later to include her watch and ring, in case some family members remembered Rose in a similar way.
