Thank you Heather, I took some reference photos before the clock changed, and they looked good enough to use, but a week or so later the clocks changed and I noticed how great the shop looked lit up ... two attempts later I finally got someone in the window seat! My first nocturne, but not my last! Thank you for commenting :- )

Thank you very much for this Sue, I’d taken photos during the daytime and was just about to start the painting when I saw how great the view looked in the dark! I ended up combining three photos to get this final image.
