Thank you for your compliment Sandra, I am really enjoying painting these flowers. Painting with a painting knife is very addictive! (But then again, so is painting in general!) Happy painting!

Cornflowers. These were my Nan's favourite flowers. She absolutely loved their colour - which I must admit is rather challenging to capture in paint!! Detail from a work in progress. Impasto paint applied with a palette knife onto a stretched canvas.
