A really lovely impressionist painting of a scene familiar to me

Thank you for your lovely comment Colin, it's a really beautiful part of the world isn't it. (I'm very lucky to have grown up near here too)

I really like everything about this. The style of painting, the composition and best of all that tree

Thank you Heather :- ) It was a perfect day when I visited last year, not too many people about, gorgeous blue sky, a few wispy clouds and as you say - 'that tree' and the view to Old Harry's Rocks in the distance. The shape of the tree is a little bit of a giveaway that the weather isn't always like this - but I just had to capture this on my mobile so that I could paint it just as it was that fine day! Thank you so much for posting your amazing compliment Heather :- )
