Thank you Seok, really lovely to hear from you again :) I aimed to paint Strandline large and loose - to describe the shape, form and colour of the various seaweeds, sponges and cuttlefish, without approaching or going down the photorealism route. I am therefore, very happy with your painterly comment...!! :) :)

Now surface dry and ready for its close-up.....'Strandline'. Oil painting on canvas - 90 cms by 70 cms approx. Selected for Mottisfont, National Trust's Open Exhibition, 1 October - 13 November 2016. Painting sold during exhibition :)
