This - is good. Atmospheric, intriguing: you want to know who might live in that cottage. I like those interleaving branches - so easy to overdo them, AND to under-do them; temptations you've avoided.

Thank you all for your comments. I had worried it might be a tad too gothic! There’s definitely something going on in that cottage and so close to the darkness of the woods! I’m afraid the true colours don’t transfer well, it’s a brighter on my drying wall but thank you nonetheless.
