Reposted with daylit photograph ~~~~ Unfortunately, this is from a photograph (it's half term - no painting expeditions while I'm in charge of the kids - and I'm not in Cornwall at the moment). But hey, I'm working on my watercolour skills, and this was a quick sketch - done entirely with the pictured acrylic brush - in the spirit of plein air, albeit done in warmer, drier and decidedly less windy conditions (I took the photograph in December; it was quite wild, but not as wild as it has been since). I am kind of pleased with it (doesn't watercolour work well for reflections?), but that doesn't mean you have to be nice about it. Tell me what I could improve.
