Cottington's Poppies

Your quiet greens really show off the poppies, Amanda, and I like the knife work - wish I could do that. Lovely sky too

I like the low viewpoint of this painting and the contrast of the red poppies against the cool greens of the grass and the excellent threatening sky works so well. Your knife work is really good - you have achieved lovely texture in the foreground.
