Lovely work, you convey such a vibrant sense of movement and atmosphere.

I am doing "sea type stuff " Amanda, but I think your waves are great... Lovely colour....and movement might bin mine.

Thank you, Seok and Sylvia. Sylvia, don't bin yours on account of mine; I am sure it will be lovely. My colours are extrapolated from the winter greys that I get from taking photographs of Cornwall in December!

I could paint the sea once - but oddly enough I'm having considerable difficulties with it lately; wish I knew why - not that I'm short of views of it: I've only got to go into the back garden, and it's down the cliff..... Anyway: enough of my problems - you've contained the drama in this, but it's still there; it may be understated but it's still powerful (and I'm probably trying too hard to emphasize the drama, and ending up with melodrama....).

How strange, Robert. Perhaps it has become too familiar? Thank you for the compliment. Incidentally, this was the first painting I did with the W&N Flake White Hue. I'm still thinking about whether or not it was all that different to Titanium White! (Apart from drying times.)
