It looks good enough to eat Amanda and is very well painted.

How dare you proffer such a beauty that we cannot eat!!!!

yummy very well painted

Mmmmm! Looks good Amanda, and thank you for an insight into how an acrylic should look!

Thank you, Christine, Gudrun, Sandy and Fiona. Gudrun, my apologies, but think of it as zero calories... Fiona, acrylics are incredibly versatile and can adopt many appearances. This is a brush painting and has different qualities to a knife painting such as the one you posted today, which I liked very much.

I'm trying to cut down, so this one just isn't fair, lol! Definitely good enough to eat.

My favourite bun! Love the colours in the chocolate. I'm dribbling!

once painted doughnut -this is great approach to the topic -super...

Thank you, Thea, Carole and Ewa. Ewa, was your doughnut a classic ring doughnut encrusted in sugar? A tricky subject, if so.

Missed this, in more senses than one - these, and profiteroles of course, are my favourite things....oozing with cream..... thick chocolate on top; yielding choux pastry..... Oo er.....

Profiteroles ... now there's an idea ... (yum!). Thank you, Robert.

CAKE! Well, yes, but it wasn't really that big (canvas is 20x26cm) and the cream didn't ooze out quite that well. But it was nice. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Of course, I ate it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The painting was done with brushes and was intended to follow the lead of "Cherry Pop" (about 4 acrylics ago - before the dancer), with its neutral background and bright "found" colours.
