This is a very lively picture, with a touch of fun, well done you.

Very colourful, vibrant work, really good painting

Has impact - now, I've had my pre-prandial gins and tonic: and I can't for the life of me think what CMYK means. I know, I know - I shall feel like a sozzled old fool in the morning. In the meantime, however, the best I can come up with is Call Me Yvonne Krumnagel, I just can't think that's quite right.....

Should have looked at your other paintings - just did; all now clear. I'm still a sozzled old fool, though.

Robert - you make me smile. For the record, and anyone else who happens along, CMYK means "Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and blacK", and is a FLA (Four Letter Acronym) deriving from the IT (Information Technology) - AKA (also known as) Computing - industry. Which, as everyon knows, is fond of its acronyms. CMYK are the colours used in many desktop printers. Daler Rowney saw fit to use the same colours in some of their acrylic paint - including the heavy body acrylic seen here. It seemed like an interesting idea to me to use the palette which turns out to be remarkably similar to my core oils palette of Phthalo Blue, Rose Madder and Lemon Yellow. I don't use black in oils, but I have added Titanium White to both palettes.

Stephen and Ros - many thanks for your comments.
