Reflecting on Porthleven
65x34cm acrylic on paper. In this painting of beautiful Porthleven, I wanted to capture the atmosphere of an early morning summer walk around the harbour. There was a light breeze and the only sounds were the lapping of the water and the squawks of the seagulls. The morning sunlight was hazy, but it was promising to be a hot ice cream eating and paddling on the beach sort of day!
