Thanks Ros :) This is all you're getting Carole. Call it minimalist or lazy. In this type of sketch I only render the bit that interests me. :) With this one it was the rib cage.

I think you are quite right Alan, this pastel is beautiful as it is. I like any sketch or painting done this way, just the focal point highlighted beautifully;o)
