This is fabulous, Alan -great draughtsmanship and wonderful clear strong colours. What watercolours do you use? And what is the size of this? (Sorry to be so full of questions...)

Thank you everyone for your most generous comments. Jane - the picture size is 14" x 10" on 140lb rough Archers paper, I use Windsor & Newton Artist Watercolours, in this picture, ultramarine, crimson, burnt & raw sienna, aureolin, new gamboge and burnt umber were the main colours. Happy painting! Alan
