This was a commission from a church to recreate a memorial to a famous portrait painter that had deteriorated over the years to become almost unintelligible. I was asked to make a life-sized, approximately 36" x 18", reconstruction of it from almost non-existent reference to the original . It now hangs inside the church alongside the original.
