Lighthouse Sunset

Good composition, and somewhere I would like to be! Where is it?

On a technical point, do conifers grow that close to the sea ?

Good question John. If you go to whidbey Island (Washington State) around the Puget sound Bay, you will see them very close to the water. But it is a good question because, this painting is primarily out of my head, but an area that I know well.
