Coffee with a Friend

I like the figures and the light in this; they appear to be on a film set. However I find the sofa disturbing in its perspective. The part she's sitting on appears much larger than the rest which then seems too small for her body.

Thank you Dianna You are right. In this photo of the painting it looks a bit confusing. But in the actual painting she is sitting on a separate piece in front of the sofa with a pillow fallen in behind. Then again, if I have to explain it, I may have to consider revisiting it with the brush.

Smashing painting, I love the angle - for me this makes your painting. There is something about it I want to keep looking. Don't mess with it.
