Have you asked them what they think about you? Two way process, this affinity business.. Do you know - he asked, as if about to say something interesting - do you know that I've never, in all my long and whiskery years, ever painted a full bodied horse? Eh? Shocks you, dunnit? I had no affinity with them either, until one trotted over to me last year and insisted on a good nuzzling and stroking - nuzzling, horse; stroking, self. I shall have to have a go; fear making a complete bugger's muddle of it....
