They do that - leaving a gaping hole. Nice dog - like the teeth!

Like the dog very nice especially the eyes and good choice for background makes it pop out

Thanks dylan and Glennis...much more tricky to attempt a portrait than just a generic animal... but this is quite close. Robert - yes they do and my little lad Paddy (now 13) is getting well past it and increasingly poorly these days.... I hope not to be painting his portrait under the same circumstances, Well not really soon, next couple of years is inevitable.

Well they liked it... although they both burst into tears on seeing it the first time... art with emotional impact apparently.
