I shan't ask why! Interested in your technique, though - wonder if you used quite dilute paint for the more distant mountain, and if you dilute with water or acrylic medium; because it works well. An alternative might be that you painted the distances with undiluted paint and then scumbled a grey/white over the top...... Puts me in mind of The Green Eye of the Little Yellow God..

Yes. Diluted with water. Plus a bit of scumbling for texture. Happy new year Robert.
