What a wonderful still life and even more so because ir has such special memories, your father would have been very proud of you.

Such a beautiful tribute to your dad , he would be very pleased with it and proud as well . You must think about framing it Abigail as it’s to good to be put away .

What a wonderful idea and a super painting Abigail. So personal. Dixie is right, one to keep and frame.

A lovely and highly personal idea, Abigail, but one that connects immediately to our own passed on loved ones. Lovely.

A wonderful painting, you have done a splendid still life.

This is lovely. It was the thought provoking title that drew me to it. I hope you'll frame it and treasure it.

This is brilliant, Abigail and a lovely memory of your loved one.

My father passed away aged 90 in June, during the last two years he was house bound and relied totally on the help of carers and his family to enable him to stay at home. I decided to paint a portrait of my Dad using some of the objects that were important to him during those final years. Dad completed the Telegraph crossword every day, enjoyed beating us all at scrabble, and consumed many thousands of Rennies over the years! This is my first proper still life painting. Oil on wooden board 40cm x 30cm.
