Just beautiful , Carole. And even includes my favourite butterfly. Thanks .

Beautifully observed Carole. I like that touch with the spiders web.

Stunning watercolour Carole.

You have been working hard again! Beautiful work!

Amazing, Carole. I wish I could paint in watercolour like that. Beautiful subject too!

Your in your element with these Carole and another fine painting

What I love about your flower studies Carole is that they never look a contrived composition. They have a natural look, including withered leave, nibbles out of the foliage here and there and as in this one, the fall of poppy seeds, it's so clever.

That butterfly is so delicate Carole, a cracking watercolour.

Very lovely Carole, these look so life like

Another amazing painting Carole, worthy of your skill and patience. You should publish a botanical book.

Brilliant Carole such variation in tones look at those exciting details well drawn and painted as ever

Extraordinary Carole!! The finesse of it! You are sooo good!

Just noticed the butterfly....brill...

Thank you all for your too kind words, they are are very encouraging to me.

This is an amazing work of art, Carole. Such incredible detail and beautiful tones, you're a very talented artist indeed.

Super study - I've just been collecting Nigella seeds for the kitchen and scattering a few in the garden for next year so topical for me.

The tendrils just makes it even more beautiful. Tired butterfly. I hope the larvae are preparing themselves ....

Very kind comments thanks so much. Your nigella seeds should take Michael, they grow everywhere in my garden.

I'm a sucker for detail and this has it in abundance. Enjoyed looking at this for a good length of time. You are truly inspirational Carole.

Just stunning Carole....one of your best I think....

Thanks so much Michael and Sylvia, getting lovely comments is very encouraging.
