Had a few days on this now and deem it finished. Changed the background as it was the window in the studio that was behind me in the mirror: made sense of the light falling on my face and softened the whole. With thanks to some supportive critique by email from my art class friends, finally got the eyes working as a pair, I think. Anyway, time to down tools and plan my next venture.
