One very rainy day in March we waited at Garsdale station along with other train enthusiasts to see a steam train come through. I didn't realise that it wasn't stopping and was treated to an experience I won't forget. It went through at quite a speed. It was really impressive; very noisy, steam and smoke everywhere.
