Interesting story, very nice drawing.

Thank you Denise, This was a sketch I did of a brick mold where the boy saved his coins to resemble chimney stacks....he was saving his farthings to buy a kite.

I drew these farthings for an illustration in pencil 2B and 3B where the child who dug clay saved his meager earnings to resemble chimney stacks. Child labour in the 1800's was abolished when the Education Act was granted by Lord Shaftesbury. My contribution for April challenge.
