I agree with your rant , so sad to see . Like this painting Chris ,unusual angle but it works well.

Thankyou Paul. My wife says I'm getting like Victor Midrew everyday!

I like the device of using the broken gate to open up the view…very clever.

Just beautiful Chris and agree how shocking/depressing it is to see how little care people how for our environment and other animals homes. I really like your little bird.

100% agree with you and we regularly walk our lanes with large plastic bags to pick it all up. A lovely painting too btw!

An unusual composition which shouldn’t work… but it does, and works very well!

I agree with Nick about your composition with the broken gate! Also agree re the rubbish everywhere , awful, and such a shame. Lovely painting Chris, which has a real feel of Spring.

Love that little bird sitting on the gate Chris. Such a light, airy, spring painting. Lovely work.

Yes I agree, shame on them. This is beautiful Chris.

Nothing wrong with the rant Chris, and as for the painting great use of colour

Sad too say but our beautiful countryside in many places are becoming littered with trash. This painting in real life would show empty plastic bottles and coffee cups and probably numerous other items dropped or thrown from passing uncaring people. Sorry for my little rant.😊
