I love Hidcite Chris, we are trying to fit a visit in this summer though it's lovely all year. I can remember this pond but not the statue anyway! Nice sky reflections.

After visiting Hidcote national trust this week. I was inspired to paint this from a photograph I took. There was considerable Algae and a warning not to put a hand in the water. I have had to cover my awful attempt at the statue I did. So that's missing. A beautiful place to visit I would highly recommend.
