Excellent painting Chris , I do love the old b&w photos and use them myself for old ships etc. There is something quite rewarding about bringing the back to life all be it in a different way.

Another good 'un, Chris. There are lots of fascinating old trades, so you've found a good vein for future work. ( I too prefer to draw people from older times, they seem more interesting...perhaps it's because I'm old and stuck in the 1950/60s.)
