It is an excellent painting Chris , reflecting what is likely to happen more often. I think it right to show this side of the plight we face , art is an excellent medium for this . I don’t normal write my thoughts down like this , but your excellent painting triggered it off.

The foreground gives it more perspective, great!

I get this Chris…..the fields are flooded here too and they make the most wonderful subjects. There are a few nearby so I’m sure I will be tempted to go and search them out before they dry up.
