Lovely pen and wash work Julie.

Very good, I have visited Lavenham a lot of over the years. You have captured it beautifully, great penwork followed by a lovely wash of Lavenham house colours.

I really like this with your clean colours, perspective and detail! At the age of 50 I finally started reading Harry Potter! LOL

Excellent Julie.

Very good depiction of this lovely old place.

You've done a lovely job with this, Julie - well worth all the time and effort...

Lovely work, Julie, and a super background story. Yes, these old buildings are the devil to paint, mainly because there's hardly a straight line to be found. They also don't line up, often throwing up several vanishing points. You've caught that mysterious buckling very well, I think. Bri

Delightful painting of a very tricky scene Julie. You’ve got it so well.

Beautifully done, Julie.

An interesting and very tricky pen and wash of this scenic medieval house in Lavenham,Suffolk. This was the fictional home of Harry Potter (Godric's Hollow). Lavenham has so many beautiful properties , I couldn't resist trying to paint it. The perspective was was very taxing and something that took far longer than expected.
