Anyone for G & T

Those glasses are stunning Julie and the contents very mouth watering. You have such an amazing talent, as I have seen from your lovely gallery.

These are amazing, I love the glasses, I'm a little imp tho and would have put a goldfish in one 😂😂👌

Beautifully painted, love the shine on the glass and the fruit is excellent.

Superb Julie

Yes, but in a much taller glass than those - think tumbler-sized! Which would also, incidentally, have been a lot easier to draw - but I see you like a challenge as much as I like a full-sized double gin. I wouldn't have known this was watercolour - wondering what your technique was...

Thank you everyone . Robert was asking about what technique I used. Strangely nothing unusual. This Royal Talens Van Gogh watercolour paper is great to work on. I drew it out with watercolour pencil and then used a combination of wet on dry and wet on wet techniques. Titanium white works surprisingly well on this paper.

Super. I really envy your ability to render the glasses and contents that convincingly.

An original watercolour on Royal Talens Van Gogh paper. This one was fun to do. A feeling of Summer and of family gatherings. Nothing better than warmth and a little G & T ! Cheers
