The gallery would be a great place for this.

I'm new here. I would like to ask what is this gallery you speak of. Sorry for the question.
Top left (well on my I pad)a small square made up of lines , press the option to view gallery appears.   Plus when you joined Painters On Line you opened your own account.   Go to that and you will find the opportunity to post on the gallery.   Try it . Menu .

It is a bit fiddly and it take time to find your way around Lucian, don’t be afraid to ask how to do something. We have all needed help at sometime and occasionally still,do.  The gallery is where we put our finished paintings so that other members can see them and comment, there are other areas on the forum for work in progress, and for critique etc . It’s certainly worth the time having a look at them as it will give you a better idea of where to put things.
Thank you for the explanations. I would rather not post in the gallery and stick to posting topics in the forums, if that's ok with you.
You do as you choose Lucian my comments were meant as a help not to tell you what to do.
Much appreciated. So, any criticism you'd like to offer on this portrait I made?
Lucian the forum is not for critiques. Hence the suggestion of the gallery....do you have a specific reason for not putting it there? .
Hang on Sy lvia - this heading IS Works for Critique - Lucian is only doing what it says on the tin.....   So far as critique is concerned, it's a striking portrait in strong colours; the colour is somewhat exaggerated if anything, eg those whites of the eyes are VERY white indeed.  However - it's a portrait that shows great promise.
Yes, it’s those eyes! They look pure white and if you study any face (not a photograph which may have been digitally enhanced), you’ll see that eyes aren’t white!
