if you can draw with confidence, you can draw with the special tools for the job!

Exactly, it's more or less like pencil drawing ...
Some pyrography update if you like to follow my friends. Just been shaping the nose of the left hand dog, and a mouth around it. Do you enjoy it? I hope so 😉
David is 16, and I don't believe English is his first language - the term is (lamentably) fairly commonly used nowadays.  I don't offer this as an excuse though, and David - please don't do it again, eh?

Robert I don't know exactly why when I translated my message it translated with that word because I never wrote it it's just the translation distorted the word, and I'm sorry for screwing up,
It was me who complained David.   Thanks for your explanation and apology....
Few more strokes today 😉 I've been improving the shading of the fur of the light haired dog... ● Tap to watch it 😉
This is looking fantastic. Can't wait to see the final artwork.  I think I also want to have a go at this technique - seems lots of fun!
Wow Pog looking forward to the eyes .  It really is looking excellent.

This is looking great!
Many thanks for the explanation, David - and you haven't screwed up, it obviously wasn't your fault.

Pog - fine work:  I already want to give both of them a kiss on the snoot, so even sans eyes, you've caught the essence of dog!
As always, Pog, skilled work.
Thank you ALL very much for lifting my mood up 😉 Actually I'm doing nothing in here regarding the drawing quality, as it is the REFERENCE that's simply beautiful ! I'm just filling up the empty space between outlines 😁
