I’ve been working on this for about a week and may have finished.  On the other hand I might abandon the background/ shadow as I can’t seem to apply the colour close to the fur.  What’s fink, Peeps?
Just gorgeous, just right...just leave it ....
Thanks Sylvia!
Agreed!
Beautiful little cat, love the eyes.
Thank you Sandra and Norrette!
Lovely work Linda.
oh so lovely, great work Linda 🐈😽
It’s great Linda, I’d just leave the background but make more use of the shadows! As in… a strong but flat wash, it will anchor him to the ground a bit more…
It’s beautifully done Linda for goodness sake don’t be tempted to fiddle with it , those eyes are superb and full of life .  I think Alan is right  work in the shadow to anchor the kitten to the ground .

I'm for the "leave alone" camp. Lovely work.
Thank you all for your lovely comments.  I think you are all right not to fiddle with the kitten, but more shadow would not go amiss.  Difficult on a white sheet, but I don’t really want to do a wash as it might get in the grooves of the indented whiskers.
