Almost finished , added the base to the foreground just need some bright foliage etc . 
A very impressive piece Paul! And your tonal values are good also re the mono version!

Turned out really well.  You can so very easily overwork these things (and many of us do): restraint is the answer.

I’m stopping here before I fiddle around and the get cross with myself for overworking the painting, I’m pleased with how it looks . Like most people it’s not till the last brush strokes that I decided if I lime it or not and an additional one or two can ruin it . 
Successful, Paul. No need to fiddle any more. Nicely done. I can feel the space, and it is all inviting.
