I’m telling you I haven’t got neutral tint Al! Lol I haven’t got anything fancy like that.....can I mix it.....is it a posh name for grey? Lol.
You did a version of this photo Alan, in ink on grey paper, it was one of the earlier photos that Dawn put on the forum. Yours is terrific. I’m pleased that you like it, you don’t think the tree branches are over done?

Oh yes, I do remember now you mention it. I’ve been too busy lately to do any of these challenges.
Try indigo with a touch of light red, you’re looking for a cool transparent grey that’s great for shadows etc. It’s a must for most watercolour artists, buy a tube next time.
Let me guess, you don’t have indigo! Well you can mix that also, I’m sure you know how!

Robert, it may be added to my next Jacksons order. I will need to check if Old Holland produce a neutral tint?
The mix of Indigo and light red that Alan suggested is quite a nice mix, I’ll certainly use it again.
Now you have mentioned Rowland Hilder, I recognise the colour from his wonderful skies.
