Well the challenge for April is reflections. When I first came up with ideas for every month of 2020 I had April showers and puddle reflections in mind. In light of the changed world we are living in, it could be more poignant than that. I will leave it to you to make what you will of it. Keep safe everyone.
That’s a good one, Dawn, with a choice of interpretation.  Taking it literally, haven’t done any puddle reflections yet, but this is a local river scene painted a while ago.

That's a lovely painting Jenny, that bridge is a cracker. Not sure how far I'll get with this month's challenge, but here's an earlier one with some subtle reflections. Old Harry - Dorset.
Two lovely paintings, here is one I did as an extra in the daily sketches, will do a fresh one later. I love painting with reflections in them.
Three excellent pictures to start this challenge.  Dawn's certainly giving us plenty of ideas to keep ourselves occupied.
Hope this sketch isn’t too gloomy, but I’ve left it unfinished and a bit vague because I think that’s how it all feels at the moment and we don't know how things will roll out. Obviously I’ve gone away from water reflection but may have bash at that later. Those posted so far are all super.
I think your lady look very reflective, and fit with the theme I’m taking the word in it’s broadest seance, I would bet it something we are  all doing at present. Hope your daughter get sort out for food soon, no matter how old or able they are always our children.

Thanks Dixie.
This Piece of art, is one of the first drawings I produced, It is also one of the oldest things I own  1976 Genesis released Trick of the Tail, the album art work just seemed to open up a whole new world for me. I still have all the drawings I made from that album cover. This one the song is called Ripples and it is all about reflections. I will post an Original piece hopefully, Later. But this picture still plays a big part in my life today.

Mirror mirror on the wall...! Fascinating idea and well executed Alan. Just back from walking the dog for about an hour, so quiet out there, hardly saw a soul, very strange. The few people I passed were practically diving into hedges to keep the two metres away. Incidentally the Farming prog on radio 4 this morning referred to two metres as being the length of a cow, that’s presumably for country folk who who aren’t quite used to metres! Made me smile.
As this is all about reflections, I tried to do a painting of the iron bridge at Telford, with its reflection in the Severn which runs underneath, didn't quite come out as I had in my mind. So it had me reflecting overthe photos I took last easter, as we spent a fantastic week there. We stoped in a room right opposite the Iron bridge, it looked out over the bridge and gorge. We spent all week walking around the different attractions, museums in the area. Such a contrast to this year,. January Iron Bridge was in danger of flooding, if not flooded, it was very close. Now the poor residents have to put put up with all the restrictions which are in place now.

Tessa, your comment about people practically diving into hedges made me laugh - I’m mostly managing to avoid people on my early morning dog walk, but I wish the (mostly male) joggers would be more considerate, they can appear quite suddenly and pass far too close for comfort.  Re the April challenge, Alan’s interesting mirror painting reminded me that I’d done a mirror reflection a few years ago, it was based on a Norman Rockwell painting.  Good to see all the different interpretations of this challenge.
