I like your Ironbridge painting Alan, it’s a great sight and forms a wonderful reflection. I remember going to the area years ago when the kids were young to the old village which was a great day out. Jenny, that’s a lovely painting, showing reflections of both types I think. This is from a photo I took back a while ago in summer from my car at the side of the road and have planned to do a painting of it at some stage. Perhaps nows the time!?

That’s a very interesting and effective take on it, Tessa!

My local group, the Artful Dodgers, has a regular saturday challenge in place of our ususal plein-air meet-up, and this week coincidentally it was reflections.  Here is my version... watercolour on Arches paper, 10 x 14 inches

We all love the sight and sound of the sea in its different moods, and the shore seems always a wonderful environment for stillness and reflection; I offer this, 'The Calm Before'... for those, who, like myself, who cannot get to the sea just now, and so unable to experience again its calming, healing  presence, when still like this, especially, here at sunset; a healing we need so much in the storm that is spreading around our world right now;God bless, Andy
I had forgotten this challenge, here is my take on reflections under the Jetty whilst we were waiting the ferry  to takrus back to the mainland from Lewis n the Outer Hebrides.   Some lovely paintings posted here .
Such beautiful artwork from everyone! I've recently finished this one from a photograph I took on a visit to Knaresborough in December 2018. It's all coloured pencil. Jan
Floating Free. A little dinghy in Brittany waiting and wondering why no one has come to use it for weeks now.
In many cultures, the apple blossom is symbolic of long life and hope. More to the point, it stands for the concept of life continuing, even after we endure a ‘death’ during the winter of our lives. It seems apt then to paint apple blossom from my garden during the current crisis. Title: “Summer will come” Materials: Watercolour on Paper April 2020
Hi Liz what a lovely painting.  But I just wondered where “reflections” came into it. Or am I being obtuse ?
